Through one or more annual projects, the ASA Ascettes hereby establish three scholarship funds in the amount of $750.00 each, to aid in assisting students who are entering, continuing, or completing their education above high school level. one will be awarded in the automotive field and one in general education, with the third to be determined.
Applicants MUST belong to the immediate family of Automotive Service Association Northwest member (in good standing) and/or their employees and their immediate families.
This scholarship is to honor Buz Throndsen and his legacy of continuing the spirit of promoting higher education to young men and women in the automotive industry.
This scholarship is to provide one per calendar year, One Thousand Dollar ($1,000) scholarship to a student that is entering his or her 1st or 2nd year in an accredited and approved automotive educational program. It is recommended that the applicant be working with a sponsor from an ASA automotive business. This scholarship is to be applied towards tuition, books, or supplies used in the classroom, not to include tool purchases.
